It’s been a challenging year to say the least for everyone I know. Personally, it’s been challenging because I’ve seen my tour business, from which I make most of my income from, dwindle to practically zero since March. A good thing to come out of the lockdown is a burst of personal creativity. I’ve been pursuing new projects including a series of books based on features from Eye Prefer Paris, but as with all new ventures, it will need funding for research and development.

My Paris Apartment for Rent June 21 to June 27

I am renting my fabulous Paris apartment in the heart of the Marais near St. Paul metro, from  June 21 to June 27, a total of  7 nights. It's a spacious one-bedroom 750 sq. ft. loft style apartment with 12 ft. ceilings, decorated in chic Mid-Century Modern furniture and sleeps one or two people in a Queen size bed. Amenities include A/C,  washer/dryer, 16" flat screen TV, dishwasher, internet connection/Wifi and free long distance calls to the U.S.  The apartment is located on the second floor with an elevator.

3. I will then send you a Paypal invoice for payment by credit card or by check. Once the invoice is paid, I will send order to the photo lab and send a confirmation of the order, which should take 2-3 days to process.

4.Once shipped, you should receive it in 2-3 days by UPS and by U.S. mail, 3-7 days.

New Eiffel Tower Photos

I am always looking for new angles and ways to shoot the Eiffel Tower and other famous monuments in Paris.

The flagship Louis Vuitton shop on the Champs Elysees has a gallery space on the top floor with a separate entrance and elevator. I was told they usually have interesting exhibits and decided to check it out when I was in the area a few weeks ago. The exhibit was appealing but nothing to write home about. What caught my eye more were the scenic views of the city from a unique perspective I hadn’t seen before. It was one of those stormy, gray days with a dramatic sky in various hues of gray. What I liked most was the industrial elements of the rooftops, like chimneys, satellites, water towers and antennas that were in the foreground of the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur, giving them a more unusual and layered context.
