Before I get to today’s post, I want to thank everyone for watching my live Marais Tour yesterday and also for your generous tips to my PayPal account. I'm sorry I couldn't thank all of you individually, but know I really appreciate it. Last Sunday, Easter Sunday, it was a brisk but sunny day and I decided to go for a walk along the Seine. A few years ago after the Paris Plage near me shutdown at the end of August, the city extended the closure permanently and it was converted into a jogging, bicycling, and walking path, with a few coffee bars, and in the summer there’s some bars and restaurants.
The walkway was filled with a cavalcade of joggers, runners, cyclists, pedestrians strolling, people zipping by on scooters, children on their tricycles, and baby carriages and strollers enjoying the day and the sunshine. Perhaps it was a new model of the Easter Parade.
As I was walking, I started to appreciate the architectural beauty of the bridges crossing the Seine and my photographic eye looked for new ways to capture them. Here are the results. Do you have some favorites?
Dear Subscribers, There was a foul up with my blog server and you received two blog posts from Monday & Wednesday in one email yesterday. In case you missed it, scroll down after Janet's interview for my April in Paris-Spring in Le Marais photos.
