So Bang Tea Time Paris is a company that custom designs cookies with elaborate customized icings for individual occasions and for businesses. The whimsical decorations are put on delicious, not too sweet shortbread cookies made with pure, high quality ingredients. 

Chi-Young Bang is the creator of So Bang Tea Time Paris and she started her business in 2015 after a career in fashion as deputy Fashion Director of Glamour Magazine in Germany and as a longtime fashion stylist for 14 years. Pastries were her other passion after fashion and she parlayed her inspiration from fashion and design, into her cookie designs. In addition to designing for special occasions such as birthday parties, showers, and weddings, So Bang has also customized products for companies such as Cartier, Vogue, Stella McCartney, Gucci, Lancome, Kenzo, and Harpers Bazaar. 

I first read about So Bang on Instagram, when they produced a special Valentine’s Day offering of a box of hand decorated cookies.( I ordered a box and wrote about it last month https://www.ipreferparis.net/2021/02/valentines-day-2021.html). 

So Bang offers private, afternoon workshops for Royal Icing and edible watercolors and shows how to make your own beautiful cookie creations. At the end of class you have tea and leave with a box of the cookies you just made to take home.
