The last time in snowed in Paris was March 2018, so when snow was predicted for last Saturday, I was ecstatic. While playing in the snow for most people consists of snowball fights, building snowmen, and snow sports, my idea of playing in the snow is taking photos. Some of my best and happiest photographic moments have been walking through the snow in parks, gardens, and squares, braving the cold, fighting the snow so it doesn’t sting my eyes, and balancing my camera so it doesn’t get wet.
The snow started at about 11am, and lasted till about 3pm and unfortunately, it left as fast as it came, all but disappearing before 8pm.
I first went to Place de la Concorde with my camera in tow, and then walked through the Tuileries all the way up to the Louvre. Surprisingly the park was crowded with people enjoying the rare snow day. I took a break for a quick lunch, regrouped, and went to the Place des Vosges.
Today is series one of my snow photos. Let me know what you think.
I want to thank everyone who watched my Live Facebook-Emily in Paris event last week, and I hope you enjoyed it.

My thoughts...these photographs are wonderful. I am hoping you make at least some of them available for sale. I will watch for a post or message regarding your decisions. You and your narratives are a joy to view and read. You bring my Paris memories flood back over my mind.♥️🇺🇸To🇫🇷

These are great - I love Paris when it snows. One year we even got to have a snowball fight!

Grazie! Fantastiche! Parigi è sempre bellissima...e mi manca! Ormai è più di un anno dal nostro ultimo viaggio e chissà quando ci potremo tornare causa l'epidemia.
