It was a rare, clear and sunny day on Sunday, and while I was at the Palais Royal preparing for my Facebook Live Emily in Paris event this Wednesday, the late afternoon sun, light, and shadows was glorious. I hadn’t been taking much in the way of photos since Christmas, so it felt good to finally give my camera a workout. After I left the Palais Royal, I walked down rue de Rivoli facing the Louvre and there were some interesting reflections in the windows. I walked further down heading towards Hotel de Ville, and on the new La Samaritaine glass building and I discovered these really cool, distorted reflections of the old buildings.
I would love your feedback on these. Which of these do you favor?

I am kicking off 2021 with an exciting, free event: I am partnering with France.fr to bring you an Emily in Paris Facebook Live Tour. As many of you know, I recently filmed a 24-minute video showing off the fabulous locations of Emily in Paris and sharing some cool insider tips about them. In this event, I'll be taking you to see a few of the iconic sites featured in the show.
The date is Wednesday, January 13 @ 11am EST

Love the distorted reflections and also the Cour Caree!
Also really liked the geometric shots of tiles from the last post.

I loved the one with window reflections behind a red metro sign; the long tunnel like effect under the arches outside the Louvre, and the first of the two black and whites ( with the old church in the rear)
And it's all your fault I just spent $200. You introduced me to Nina Kendosa and now that I can't go to my neighborhood shop on Mouffetard I've discovered Nina online.
God I miss Paris. It's been over 18 months! And. As you know, I'm usually there twice a year!
