Christian Louboutin Exhibit
Christian Louboutin, the man who launched a thousand red soles with his cult footwear, is having his first retrospective. The show is at the Palais de la Porte Dorée in the 12th arrondissement, near where Louboutin grew up. His first design drawings when he was 12 years old were inspired by the museum. In addition to the dozens of his shoe designs displayed, there are exclusive collaborations with director and photographer David Lynch, the New Zealand multimedia artist Lisa Reihana, the English designer duo Whitaker Malem, the Spanish choreographer Blanca Li, the Pakistani artist Imran Qureshi, some of which have never been seen before.
