The Courtauld Collection: A Vision for Impressionism
One of the greatest collections of 19th century art and Impressionists paintings is having a long overdue exhibition. It’s been over 60 years since the formidable art collection of British industrialist Samuel Courtauld has been seen in Paris. The show has 110 works including Manet's A Bar at the Folies-Bergère, Cézanne's The Card Players and Van Gogh's Self-Portrait with a bandaged ear and 12 watercolors by Turner.
