Sometimes a travel adventure in sun and warmth calls out during the long Paris winter (although we must admit that the past few weeks in Paris have been surprisingly spring-like).
For me, India answers this travel adventure call with a full force of color and chaos—life on display in every street, river, and alley shadow. But amidst this sensory bombardment, I am always amazed to find a quiet-hearted, generous, patient people—with a joy, and often wisdom, in their eyes under the most challenging of circumstance.
What is their secret? We should all want to know.
