On November 10 and 11 a very special event will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WW I.
The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a concert lead by Maestro Franz Welser-Möst who has created a program called Prologue, Devastation, Hope, Contemplation to reflect on the somber occasion.
Internationally known musicians and singers who are from countries involved in WW I will perform including French-Danish soprano Elsa Dreisig, the Russian mezzo Ekaterina Gubanova, the German tenor Daniel Behle and the American bass Ryan Speedo-Green.
The two performance concert will be presented at the gorgeous Royal Opera house at Versailles and the second performance at 3PM will be broadcast live in 46 countries including France (France TV) and Germany (ZDF).
