Margiela, Les Annees Hermes
In an unusual pairing, Martin Margiela designed the ready to wear women’s collections for Hermes from 1997 to 2003. While using luxurious fabrics such as leather, silk, and cashmere and adhering to the brand’s more classic silhouette, Margiela also managed to infuse his Avant-garde style. The exhibit features over 100 designs, along with photos and videos and combines the iconic orange Hermes color and Margiela’s all white aesthetic.
