Beautiful photos! I would love to see Paris with snow but live in Scottsdale, AZ and don't even own a winter coat.


For once, colour..... the little we have!

We have got 20+cm yesterday - a clear ‘du jamais vu’ and a delight for the eyes, not so much for all my blooming shrubs ..... Today glorious sunshne and tons of ice!

Oh, man! You are so lucky, Richard! In all my trips to Paris I have never seen it snow. These photos are quite beautiful. As to your question about the artist painting in the snow I have to say I love the black and white! There is a timeless quality to it that is breathtaking. The weird thing is that the color photo taken on rue Saint Antoine with the red balloon ALSO has this same timeless quality to it. That photo is fantastic, the red color really pops! Thank you so much for sharing these photos, Richard. Makes me miss Paris so much!!!
