New York City Ballet
The New York City Ballet returns to Paris after a long absence for a three-week run. The program includes 20 ballets featuring 14 by George Balanchine plus works by choreographers Justin Peck, Alexei Ratmansky, and Christopher Wheeldon.

Beat Generation
An iconic American movement The Beat Generation is being celebrated at the Centre Pompidou. William Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac founded the movement when they met at Colombia University in 1944, forever changing the American cultural landscape with their poems and stories. In addition to the exhibit there are readings, performances, concerts and films.

Charles Gleyre
A major figure of the academy painters of Paris, Charles Glyere has never had a solo exhibition. The Swiss born painter taught painters such as Sisley, Bazille, Renoir and Monet but died in obscurity in 1874.

Paris Jazz Festival 2016
The annual edition of the popular jazz festival has an international theme this year. Some weekends will feature Paris jazz accompanied by another region or country with an emerging jazz sound including Paris-Spain and Paris- Erevan and other weekends will program Afro-Cuba and Classical Jazz.

New! Eye Prefer Paris Cooking Classes
I am happy to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Cooking Classes. Come take an ethnic culinary journey with me and chef and caterer Charlotte Puckette, co-author of the bestseller The Ethnic Paris Cookbook (with Olivia Kiang-Snaije). First we will shop at a Paris green-market for the freshest ingredients and then return to Charlotte's professional kitchen near the Eiffel Tower to cook a three-course lunch. After, we will indulge in the delicious feast we prepared along with hand-selected wines.
Cost: 195 euros per person (about $210)
Time: 9:30AM- 2PM (approximately 4 1/2 hours)
Location: We will meet by a metro station close to the market
Class days: Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday,Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
