Brassai: For Love of Paris
One of the greatest and most beloved Paris photographers, Brassai is having an exhibit dedicated to his love of Paris. Originally from Hungary, Brassai was the quintessential Paris photographer capturing the city with his iconic black and white images. The show also includes a rarely shown 21-minute video “As Long as There are Animals” from 1956.

Armelle Yons: My Boudoir in Paris
Share an intimate 75 minutes with chanteuse Armelle Yons in her boudoir. Her alter ego Miss Tegree retires to her dressing room after her glittery Moulin Rouge performance to embody the soul of old Pigalle and sing songs of her French singing idols Piaf, Gainsbourg, Juliette Greco, Boris Vian, Barbara Mistinguett and Yvette Guilbert.

Musee des Arts Forains
I went last year to this fabulous museum of antique carnival rides and circus artifacts with wonderful old carousels, rides, and extravagant circus and showgirl costumes. Christmas at Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte
Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte, the 17th century palace themed on Versailles is celebrating the holidays with a magical Christmas décor, chimney fires in every room, and holiday music playing. The façade and gardens of the chateau are lit with festive colored lights. There is also an enchanting Pinocchio show for the children.
December 7,8, 14, 15, and everyday from December 21 to January 5 (closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day) from 10:30am-6pm.

New! Eye Prefer Paris Cooking Classes
I am happy to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Cooking Classes. Come take an ethnic culinary journey with me and chef and caterer Charlotte Puckette, co-author of the bestseller The Ethnic Paris Cookbook (with Olivia Kiang-Snaije). First we will shop at a Paris green-market for the freshest ingredients and then return to Charlotte's professional kitchen near the Eiffel Tower to cook a three-course lunch. After, we will indulge in the delicious feast we prepared along with hand-selected wines.
Cost: 185 euros per person (about $240)
Time: 9:30AM- 2PM (approximately 4 1/2 hours)
Location: We will meet by a metro station close to the market
Class days: Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday,Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
