As many of you know I have certain photo obsessions: doors, lanterns/street lamps, and hanging laundry, to name a few. I happily found a new photo obsession in Venice: doorbells. There was something intriguing about the shiny brass doorbells that reflect Venice and the rugged, chipped stone surrounding them in beautiful earth tones that attracted me to photograph them. I am very excited about my new obsession. What do you think, should I pursue more doorbell shots?

Thank you for your blog and your gorgeous photography. Love your doorbells and the shots posted last week also. While at Carnaval I tried to take a few doorbells mai trop pressé. Definitely take more...love the colors, textures and designs. Have you photographed the costumers during Carnaval? One of the highlights of my life, and quite the experience for an amateur! J'adore Venise, et Paris. Merci Beaucoup!

I'm so happy to share something else with you - they ARE stunning.... I'm sure we'd find even more shared 'loves'..... :)
Made on-line 'day-to-day' advent calendars for family and friends over the years with door numbers - and Paris is a great 'find' in that respect too. Have balcony scenes, windows, and a few more things in addition to your list which I share entirely....
