It’s time for my annual coverage of magical, enchanting Christmas in Paris. This year the shop windows and streets are especially dazzling. For the next two weeks I will dedicate my blog posts to Christmas in Paris and next week I will have an unexpected treat.
Hermés as usual is a feast of unbridled luxury and decadence. The windows by Leila Menchari seem a little more Easter than Christmas with the pastel colors and a bunny rabbit perched on a pistachio green handbag. Ostriches and feathers are heavily used and the animal portraits in fanciful, guilded frames are quite whimsical.
I have also included photos of the festive lights and decorations on the rue Saint Honoré and rue Royale, near Hermés.

Beautiful photos. San Diego may have sun but it doesn't have the glamor of Xmas in Paris.
