I have done many posts about the beautiful main garden of the Musée Carnavalet, including some stunning images of the garden’s fleur de lis shaped shrubs covered in snow.
There is another smaller, more intimate garden in the museum that I have never taken photos of before. It was a hot, lazy summer day a few weeks ago and visitors were relaxing in the serene gardens.
Musée Carnavalet is a museum about the history of Paris housed in two former limestone mansions from the 1600s. One of the homes was of Madame Sevigné, one of the foremost letter writers of France who lived in the palace in the late 1600s.
