Paris is bustling with so much culture this June, I can hardly keep up.
I just learned The Tower Bridge Theater Company will present their annual outdoor production this year of A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare. This highly acclaimed production originating in London will play in the Bois de Boulogne at Theatre de Verdure Jardin Shakespeare, one of the most beautiful open air theaters in Paris among the woods, greenery, and lush gardens of the Pre Catalan. It is directed by Jean Carr and John Morton. Now in its 21st season, the successful Shakespeare series has been delighting audiences with productions of Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, The Comedy of Errors, and As You Like It, among others. Performances are in English with French subtitles.
