If you are in the Marais this weekend, don't miss the Nomads Art and Culture Festival. Conceived by Patrick Badard and Linda Bryman who are in charge of culture at Paris district 3 City Hall, the Nomads Art and Culture Festival has 350 events today through Sunday including art and gallery shows, street art, video, sculpture, live music, concerts, poetry readings, and theater.
Some of the selected highlights of the festival include Art Brut at Galerie Christian Berst, Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac with two exhibits, the recent paintings of Elya and Emilia Kabakov and sculptures by Donald Baechler, and at the Glass House gallery is a glass installation Sound Cloud by Kazuhiro Yamanaka. The Swedish Institute is sponsoring an International Festival of Performance Art with performances on water by Zhu Ming and Bill Drummond.
