Here are the rest of the photos from our fun day at the Garden Festival at Domaine de Chaumont-Sur-Loire.
Domaine de Chaumont-Sur-Loire is a UNESCO world heritage site and dates back to the 10th century when it was built as a fortress. Louis X11 set it on fire in 1465 and it was rebuilt from 1468 to 1510. Queen Catherine de Medici bought the chateau in 1550 and later sold it to Diane de Poitiers upon the death of King Henri II. It had a long line of successors after that and the estate was taken over by the Centre Region France in February 2007.
