I captured Paris in the springtime in all its perfection last week at a nearby park that had the most astounding cherry blossoms in full bloom. It inspired me to think of a new contest: I Love Paris in the Springtime.
I am looking for a photo that best captures spring. It could be a tulip, a tree, lovers sharing an intimate moment at a cafe, a daffodil, an Easter egg, or anything else that conjures up spring.
Please send no more than 4 photos with a one-line caption/description to [email protected]
I will accept photos till April 18 and will announce the winner on Thursday, April 19.
The winner will receive a copy of the charming book, Paris-Chien by Jackie Mancuso. Paris Chien is an illustrated children's book about Hudson, an adventurous Norwich Terrier that goes to Paris with his mom to live for a year. Hudson wants to play with the other dogs but they only speak French, so he must hit the books and learn French so he can become a real Paris chien.

Thank you for posting this, Richard! They remind me of the Charles d'Orleans poem, "The Weather Has Taken Off Its Coat" (or: Le Temps a Laissé Son Manteau." (See http://chezbonnefemme.com/the-weather-has-taken-off-its-coat/ )
