I'm sure everyone has their favorite flavor and brand of macaron. For me it's Pierre Hermé and I know I will receive many differences in opinion, so bring it on. The rich milk chocolate with the contrasting pungent passion fruit macaron is on the top of my list. A curry yellow shell with spots of cocoa powder with the chocolate sandwiched in between make them irresistible.

You should take the macaron class at "La Cuisine"...it was a very complicated recipe but worth the result! I'm going by Pierre Herme's shop on rue Bonaparte on Sunday to buy some macarons for my friends I will be meeting at the Cafe de Flore
