The windows at Hermés never disappoint in terms of decadent luxury and this year they have pulled out all the stops to present a fantasy world of flowers. American artist Timothy Martin was invited by Leila Menchari of Hermés to collaborate with her to create this season's windows. He he spent five months painting ten 8' X10' paintings and each one is a whimsical, flower framed original with a musical instrument or chair also composed of flowers. If you don't get to Paris for the holidays to see these beauties, don't worry, they will be up till February 21.

I've become addicted to your blog! Thanks for giving those of us not in Paris at Christmas the beautiful eye-fuls!! Merci mille fois.
I will be in Paris for 3 days in mid-January, though. I went on-line in hopes of scoring a ticket to the Grand Palais Monet exhibit, but they are no longer for sale. Any ideas on how to get one? Merci en avance.
