that seafood looks amazing! as you say, the merchants take real pride in what they sell. I remember in the supermarket in France, the workers on the fish counter were so passionate about the fish and seafood, and made sure i knew what i was buying and how i planned to cook it. What a culture!


I'm homesick for Trouville.


yum. do you deliver? the prices seem hig, but, all of it is much closer to the ocean than anything i can get here, unless i catch it myself.

I did the very same thing with my late friend, Jack, many years ago when I was living there! I adored it. It was in Trouville, that I learned how to eat Bigareau, les moules, clams, et les huitres. That was a huge undertaking for me and was life-changing! I adored seeing the “broken rock” in the water and the other rock formations. It was simply amazing.
