I am happy to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Girlfriend Tours. I have partnered with the wonderful and informative new site Girls Guide to Paris to design specialized tours just for women. Whether it's a short weekend jaunt or a week of Paris fun, I have created 3 tours to show Paris in all its splendor with your best girlfriends.
The Uptown Tour, which covers the Palais Royal and the Opera area, includes top designer Paris shops on the rue St, Honore such as: Lanvin, Hermes, Balenciaga, plus a yummy visit to the gourmet shops on Place Madeleine Fauchon, and Hediard, among others.
The more casual chic Downtown Tour is of the Marais, my specialty, including the hottest Marais fashion boutiques like Vanessa Bruno, Isabel Marrant, and Gerard Darel and also some exclusive gems like a shop that custom dyes any garment they sell in over 100 colors. There's a mandatory stop for scrumptious pastry at Gerard Mulot, one of the top patisseries in Paris.
Rive Gauche lovers will enjoy the Bohemian tour of St. Germain des Pres with its charming, exclusive boutiques lining the rue du Bac, rue de Grenelle, and rue du Cherche-Midi. A visit to the Bon Marché, the fashionable specialty store is included along with a mouthwatering stroll through the amazing food halls of La Grande Epicerie.
The tours cost 90 euros a person with a minimum of two people and maximum of 8.

Dear Richard,
While you are girlfriend touring near Blvd. St. Germain, if you should happen to find yourself on Rue du Dragon, you will find the most delightful card shop, Cartes D' Art. This place is guaranteed to please the ladies, especially the ones fond of cats. Here is a link to a picture someone has taken of the street which conveniently shows the shop's sign. http://www.panoramio.com/photo/9543480
Also on the Blvd. St. Germain near its intersection with Rue du Dragon, is the Daum shop with lovely art glass and some glass jewelry. Very nice.
