I dropped and broke my camera last week, so my "eye" is temporarily out of order for the next two weeks until my camera is fixed. If you Eye Prefer Paris addicts have withdrawal problems, I am sorry to say there are no 12-step programs to help you, but you can always email me if you can't make it one Paris day at a time. I am posting The Best of Eye Prefer Paris with some of yours and my favorite posts to help you get through the next few weeks.
It's been an unusually snowy winter this year and I have taken full advantage of snow covered Paris with my camera. Last week, on one of those schizophrenic weather days where it was snowing heavily for a few hours, followed by clear blue skies and bright sunshine for about fifteen minutes, followed by snow again, I captured the spectacular snow encrusted gardens at the Carnavalet Museum in the Marais.I have experimented with black and white, so let me know what you think.
The Carnavalet, a former 16th century palace inhabited by Madame de Sévigné who is famous for her tell-all letters, is a museum all about the history of Paris.
