I was invited to a cocktail party last month at 33 rue du Champs de Mars in the 7th arr. near the Eiffel Tower. When I arrived I was blown away by the stunning doors and iron work. It was night time and I couldn't capture the intricate detailing, so I came during the day a few weeks later. They are a supreme example of Art Nouveau style with its decorative flowers, leaves, and stone swirls. These are by far one of my favorite Doors of the Month of all time. Tell me if you agree.

WOW! This is a real find, Richard. So beautiful on a cleaned up facade so we can really appreciate the craftsmanship of the era. A labor of love. Thanks.

GORGEOUS!! Thanks for going back! There is another art nouveau door to keep an eye on if you don't know it already. It was being restored when I was there in March. It's on east side of rue du Louvre right by rue de Rivoli--just about under the Duluc Detective sign. I'm looking forward to seeing it all gussied up!

A complete culmination of all that Paris is -- yes, yes, by far THE BEST DOTM. However: details, we need DETAILS about that cocktail party, svp!

Just a fabulous door, easily matches anything I've seen in Auteuil. Congratulations!
