A two-week road trip. Pourquoi pas? Only one major decision—where to point the car. The good news is ... you can’t go wrong. North, south, east, or west from Paris—all roads lead to adventure and indelible beauty.
I chose West. Normandy and Brittany. A coastal theme. From sipping things in the soft night light of a twinkling harbor to exploring fields of megalithic dust. From shooing sheep (those baaad boys) to marveling at the graphic elegance of piles of salt. It was all good.
And when you get more than your share of luck (what are the odds of a sheep herd passing in front of Mont St Michel at sunset?), then you know you’re doing something right.
