Lovely pictures of a lovely park, thank you. I never lived in Paris for as long as Mme Vallois, but I would be surprised to hear a Parisian cab driver exclaim, "Ah, mais c'est habitait Coluche!" Perhaps something like "Ah, mais c'est là où habitait Coluche!" But language changes . . .

john, in the original text thirza sent me, some of the words she sent came out using symbols and on this phrase, the lå and où were symbols instead of letters.I just corrected it. in fact Thirza just sent me the corrections.thanks for pointing it out.

What a lovely surprise this morning to open I Prefer Paris and find the photos and the story about Parc Monsouris! I lived in the Cité Universitaire when I studied at the Sorbonne and we spent lots of our leisure time in the park. It did used to be pretty quiet, but then so was Place des Vosges.
