Smoke and Mirrors in Budapest, but Eye Still Prefer Paris
My photographic voice fits well with the city of light (that's why Eye Prefer Paris), but new horizons are an essential part of the creative process. For this week's getaway, I spun the "B" Wheel of Fortune ... Berlin, Budapest, Bratislava, or Bucharest. The big winner: Budapest.
Budapest is an easy Easyjet flight from Paris, but a metaphoric million miles away. A unique quality of light; new sets, props, and characters; and gritty yet warm human rhythms. Smoky corners, steaming hot springs, swimmers suspended in rippling reflections, and the search for an answer to the age-old question ... "How many submerged Hungarians does it take to win a game of chess?"

I am pleased as punch to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Tours, which are 3-hour walking tours I will personally be leading. The Eye Prefer Paris Tour includes many of the places I have written about such as small museums & galleries, restaurants, cafes & food markets, secret addresses, fashion & home boutiques, parks, and much more.
I look forward to meeting you on my tours and it will be my pleasure and delight to show you my insiders Paris.

I am a devoted Meredith Mullins admirer. These photographs today aren't Paris, but I love them nevertheless! Wonderful work as always.
