Let it Snow...
Text & Photos by Meredith Mullins
The photography gods steamrolled into my slumber, shook me awake, and said “Get up and go forth into the darkness. Your dream has come true.” I started to argue with them, since it was 5 am, but they were relentless … and right. The rarest of Paris sights—snow—was swirling down the sides of the universe. And so I went forth … into the darkness. There was no sound in the streets, just the silence of snow. There were no footprints except mine. There was no light except for the warm glow of the streetlamps and the radiance of the white fallen snow. And for the next few hours, as I wandered around my two neighborhood islands, I understood the meaning of pure joy.
