While I was giving a tour of the Marmottan Museum, which houses the largest collection of Monet paintings in the world, I discovered this gem of a door across the street. I especially love the two goddesses watching over the entrance way. I wonder if they gossip about the tenants. They must know all their secrets. The door is typical of the ornately detailed Belle Epoque buildings from the late 1800s to the early 1900s.

I love the goddesses too. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have them watching over your doorway?

I am so glad that I am not the only one who is fascinated by all of the amazing doors in Paris. We loved the Marmottan museum when we visited – such a lovely place – and not too crowded
It’s a snowy day in Cleveland – and your blog is such a wonderful retreat!
