I've enticed, enchanted, and seduced you the last few days with the beautiful windows at Galeries Lafayette and Printemps.
Today I saved the best for last: Hermes. I'm going to smother you with pure luxury and decadence from a silver leather and ostrich horse saddle to a pearl encrusted Kelly bag. With all the doom and gloom about the economy I'm glad Hermes is still pulling out all the stops. Even if most of us can't afford these sumptuous goodies, it's still fun to fantasize.

These babies have my name written all over them. I will happily accept these as an Xmas present.

I am pleased as punch to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Tours, which are 3-hour walking tours I will personally be leading. The Eye Prefer Paris Tour includes many of the places I have written about such as small museums & galleries, restaurants, cafes & food markets, secret addresses, fashion & home boutiques, parks, and much more.
I look forward to meeting you on my tours and it will be my pleasure and delight to show you my insiders Paris.

Hermès ALWAYS does such a great job with their windows. RIchard, those sneakers could easily take you back to your disco days. Thanks for brightening up our day with these shots.

The Kelly bag is spectacular, but I am really loving the background photos - especially the sacred cows draped in shawls.

very posh! interesting how their theme is gold and silver when the economy is in ruins; it's great!
