I was walking down rue Jean -Goujon in the eight arr. and found this breathtaking, incredibly ornate church. It's the Cathédrale Arménienne Saint Jean-Baptiste (armenian church) and the only thing I learned in my research was it was built in 1903 by architect Albert-Désiré Guilbert. I love the amazing richly detailed stone carvings and the cartoon-like murals.
