They say if you don't like the Paris weather, wait five minutes. The changes are sudden, like bursts of energy. Showers, then clear bright sun, then both--when you take a sunny walk in the rain, looking over each shoulder for the inevitable rainbow.
It has rained a lot in Paris lately. But it seems to fit--poetic and romantic. And, as Longfellow said, "if it's raining, all you can do is let it rain."
As for me, I take a moment to seek out the beautiful light, the glistening reflections, and the fleeting figures dancing between the raindrops.
