When doing research for my Montparnasse tour a few weeks ago, I found some qurky things along the way that I just had to photgraph and post.
The top shot and the one below are the still remaining holiday windows from an art supply store on rue de la Chaumiere. It looks like Mrs. Bates never opened her Christmas gift from Norman.
Next up is the scooter with a pin-up girl collage I spotted on rue Notre Dame des Champs.
And last but not least, is the eye-catching lone red stencil on this apartment building on rue Vavin.
Paris Notes
Another story of mine has been published in the March edition of Paris Notes. It's about M.Stern, one of the last hand engravers and stationers in Paris.

I think the the mural-grafitti is by Nemo. I love the "girly" Vespa!

Bonjour! Please note that your last photo is the work of a famous artist which is painted around a hotel room in the Hotel des Academies. This is NOT an apartment building. I stayed in this room from age 18 - 42. I know the owners. Please see the website below to learn more about the history of the artist and the hotel.

Hi again, this is a follow-up to my previous comment. Hotel des Academies is NOT located on rue Vavin. The precise address is 15, rue de la Grande Chaumiere. Stop by and check out the hotel.
