We all know the best way to a loved one’s heart is by giving them chocolate. My favorite Paris chocolate shop, Josephine Vannier, has a real heart of gold. Their chocolate heart is trimmed with 18-karat gold and you can show your love in four sizes, from a little for 11.50 euros, to I love you to pieces for 64 euros.
Other Valentines Day selections include a flat chocolate heart with toi et moi (you and me) written across it in white script and a heart shaped chocolate box with hand-painted illustrations of Chinese lovers, which combines the Chinese New Year and Valentines Day.

Clarification on yesterday's Absinthe post
The Absinthe ban in the U.S was lifted in 2007. However, the kind that is allowed does not have thujone in it,
the powerful herb that supposedly gives Absinthe its kick or "mind illuminating effects" as French doctor put it.
