When Sonya Harris from Adelaide, Australia showed up for her tour with a tripod on her shoulder,I knew she was a serious photographer. It was a beautiful sunny, clear day when shutterbug Sonya, her husband Ian and her daughter Nicole took a tour of the Ile St. Louis and the Marais during the last week of August. She took over 4,000 photos during her month long holiday and was generous to send me some to post. These are magazine quality photos and I think they show off the city so well. Thanks Sonya, and please return to Paris soon to take some more of your gorgeous photos.

I am pleased as punch to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Tours, which are 3-hour walking tours I will personally be leading. The Eye Prefer Paris Tour
includes many of the places I have written about such as small museums & galleries, restaurants, cafes & food markets, secret addresses, fashion & home boutiques, parks, and much more.
I look forward to meeting you on my tours and it will be my pleasure and delight to show you my insiders Paris.

Ha! Is that the garden behind Musee Carnavalet in that bottom photo? I shot some photos there too, but it was drizzly and gray. I like these better.
