Thanks for posting the pix of the boxes. It's a real end of summer treat. What I've always loved about Paris, and Europe in general, is that people take one variety of flowers and make them look exquisite, rather than the jumbled up containers you see in the States. I visited Leipzig last fall, and one entire garden in front of the train station was planted with heliotrope. It was an amazing sight.


Somewhere, I cannot recall where, I saw geraniums as lush as those in the top photo. Perhaps it was in the 16th! It was May and they were as lovely and full as they are above.


Just beautiful, Richard. Thank you. Makes me want to get on the 52 bus and walk around the 16th (I call the rue de Passy the "street of dreams."
