I recently took my friend Eric Tenin, from the terrific blog Paris Daily Photo, on an Eye Prefer Paris Tour to explore and take photos of the Marais. It was early Saturday morning as we combed the empty streets and I showed Eric, a native Parisian, many of my Marais tour sites. He said that he lived in Paris all his life, but had never seen some of the places I showed him. I guess I’m really doing my job when I can impress a Parisian by showing them parts of the city they have never seen before. Here are some photos of our most enjoyable morning tour.

I am pleased as punch to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Tours, which are 3-hour walking tours I will personally be leading. The Eye Prefer Paris Tour
includes many of the places I have written about such as small museums & galleries, restaurants, cafes & food markets, secret addresses, fashion & home boutiques, parks, and much more.
I look forward to meeting you on my tours and it will be my pleasure and delight to show you my insiders Paris.

Richard,
Congratulations on the launch of the tour business! I was sure it would be a success, but if a native Parisian is praising your insights it, you've got it in the bag......
