Absolut Disco is the latest limited edition bottle from Absolut Vodka. Following up last year's Absolut Bling Bling, the new bottle resembles a mirrored disco ball.
Seeing the clever bottle in la Grande Epicerie at le Bon Marche the other day, I couldn’t help reminiscing about my New York disco days of the late 70’s.
I was what you call a disco freak and was a permanent fixture at New York clubs such as Xenon, Flamingo, Le Jardin, and of course the legendary Studio 54, where I hob-knobbed with Liza, Andy, Halston, and Truman. I would dance my ass off to the non-stop disco beat of Donna Summer, Sylvester, Barry White, First Choice,Gloria Gaynor, The Village People and Carol “Doctor’s Orders” Douglas, till the very wee hours of the morning.
Below is a photo of me in all my gotta-go-disco glory.

Yes, that's me, the hottie with the 29-inch waist and full head of hair

I am pleased as punch to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Tours, which are 3-hour walking tours I will personally be leading. The Eye Prefer Paris Tour includes many of the places I have written about such as small museums & galleries, restaurants, cafes & food markets, secret addresses, fashion & home boutiques, parks, and much more.
I look forward to meeting you on my tours and it will be my pleasure and delight to show you my insiders Paris.
